üzerine yoğunlaşmış bir fotoğrafçı. Malezyalı, 12 Eylül 1965 doğumlu ve fotoğraf çekmeye 2001 yılında başlamış. Kendini hızlı geliştiren bir fotoğrafçı. Kendisiyle kısa bir shobet gerçekleştirdik, buyrun okuması sizden 🙂
1. Why have you chosen photography? Neden fotoğrafı seçtiniz?
Well, I can?t paint , so photograhy seems a logical tool for me to express my thought.
Resim yapamıyorum, ben de kendimi ifade edebilmek için mantık çerçevesinde kendime fotoğrafı buldum.
2.Your first camera, your comments, the camera you are using now and your gear? İlk fotoğraf makineniz, yorumlarınız, şu anda kullandığınız ekipmanınız nedir?
My very first camera was the EOS/88, that was somewhere in the year 2001. The camera had been serving me well, however, I moved to EOS/1V soon after that, and later the 6×7, then 4×6. For my digital camera, I have chosen the Sigma SD9 as my first digital camera, I just love the output by the Foveon processor. I didn?t look back and purchase the SD14 when it was release. Now I also own the SD15.
İlk fotoğraf makinem EOS/88 idi, 2001 yılı içinde almıştım. Makine benim için iyi iş çıkartıyordu, yine de EOS/1V’ye geçtim ve daha sonra 6×7 ve sonra 4×6. Dijital fotoğraf makinede de ilk olarak Sigma SD9’u seçtim, Foveon işlemcinin çıkardığı işi çok beğeniyorum. Geriye bakmadım ve SD14ü çıktığı zaman aldım ve şu anda da SD15 kullanıyorum.
3.What is photograph for you? Can you describe ?the photograph? ? Sizce fotoğraf nedir? Fotoğrafı tanımlar mısınız?
A photo to me is that would record a thought, something that words cannot express.
Fotoğraf, kelimelerle ifade edilmeyen düşünceleri anlatmaktır.
4.What kind of photographs do you like to shoot? Why? Ne tip fotoğraf çekmekten hoşlanıyorsunuz? Neden?
As of now, I am doing landcape photography, but I am very fond of conceptual photography as the subjects are not confined to what the photographers see but fantasize as well. Conceptual photography is in the mind of the photographer.
Şu anda manzara fotoğrafları çekiyorum fakat konsept fotoğraflara çok ilgim var, fotoğrafçı yaratıcılığını sergileyebiliyor, çünkü sınır yok. Konsept fotoğrafçılık; fotoğrafçının beynidir.
5. Have you been educated in this field? Did you go to schools? Do you have successes, awards or etc? Fotoğraf eğitimi aldınız mı? Başarılarınız, ödülleriniz var mıdır?
I am completely self-taught. I have an Associateship from RPS, and I have won more than 100 medals on the international salon, you can find out more from my site.

6. What about Photoshop? How much should it be used, is it ethic? Photoshop hakkında ne düşünüyorsunuz, ne kadar kullanılmalı, ne kadar etik?
Why not Photoshop? If you are into digital photography, PS will help complete the other 50% after the image is captured. It is a neccessity, I encourage it. If one were to object it, then I would advice the person to go back to film, simple.
Neden olmasın? Dijital fotoğrafla uğraşıyorsanız, PS fotoğraf çekildikten sonraki %50yi tamamlıyor. Bu bir gereklilik, kullanımını destekliyorum. Eğer bunun karşısında biri varsa da filmli zamana gitmesini öneriyorum, basit.
7.What are your advices for a beginner to improve his/her photography? Yeni başlayanlara önerileriniz nelerdir?
Read more, see more, think more and shoot more. Daha fazla okuyun, daha fazla izleyin, daha fazla düşünün, daha fazla fotoğraf çekin.
8. What do you think of gears? How much do the equipment play a role on a photograph? Fotoğraf ekipmanlarına bakış açınız nedir? Fotoğrafta ne kadar rol oynuyor?
I think gears are important, especially in the era of digital photography, generally a good camera and lens would give you a clearer and sharper image, but the importance would never surpass the artistic merits of the photographer. It is after all the photographer who gives soul or life to a photo.
Ekipman önemli, özellikle dijital fotoğrafçılıkta, iyi bir fotoğraf makinesi ve iyi bir lens size daha keskin ve temiz bir sonuç veriyor, fakat fotoğrafçının meziyetlerini hiç bir zaman geçemez. Fotoğrafa ruhunu veren fotoğrafçıdır.
9. Your favourite photograph of yours? Favori fotoğrafınız nedir?
All my work are my part of my inner feelings, I don?t have specific image that I like the most.

10. Your favourite photographer? Favori fotoğrafçınız kimdir?
Me:) just kidding. I also don?t have one, I enjoy a good photo and only will find out more about the photographer who had created it. That would include someone who had just started photography.
Benim 🙂 Şaka tabi ki… Bir tane değil, iyi fotoğraf çeken herkes favori fotoğrafçım, bu yeni başlayan biri bile olabilir.
11.What are you doing except photography? Fotoğraf haricinde neler yapıyorsunuz?
I am also a writer, contributing editor to some photography magazines. I lead photography trips as well, and from time to time I give workshops.
